Out Of Office Travel LLC is a hotel-booking site agency that effectively brings corporate, negotiated rates to the leisure traveler. The site is fully private and only available to employees of those Forbes 500 corporations with whom we partner. Corporate travelers are familiar with incredible hotel discounts that are available for their corporate travel. We bring those discounts, plus benefits and amenities, service and selection to the high-spend leisure traveler. We have partnered with Tzell Group and Travel Leaders to bring our patrons the best service, rates, and amenities possible. When we ask for your personal information, we’ll let you know how you can find out about our privacy practices. If we’re asking you for information online, such as on one of our Web sites, we’ll provide a link to our Privacy Promise. Michael also currently serves as a Managing Partner of corporate travel at NEXT Corporate Travel, based in New York City — an affiliate of Travel Leaders Group Tzell, with $22 billion in annual sales. NEXT Corporate Travel handles managed travel for large corporate accounts. Formerly, Michael founded Advanced Travel Management (ATM), a corporate travel management company. During Michael’s ten years as President, ATM grew to be one of the leading multi-regional travel agencies in the US and in 2001, ATM was ranked by Business Travel News as the 15th largest corporate travel company in the US.
In 2002, ATM merged with Sea Gate Travel. The newly created company, Sea Gate/Advanced Travel, became the largest independent corporate travel management company in the US with sales exceeding USD 600 million. Sea Gate’s roster of clients included Walt Disney Company, Deutsche Bank AG, Condé Nast Publications, Bloomberg LLP, News Corporation and Fox Entertainment Group, Viacom and MTV Networks, Gap, Inc., Bristol Meyers Squibb, Putnam Investments, Omnicom Group, WPP plc, National Basketball Association and many others. Sea Gate Travel Group was purchased Hogg Robinson in 2004 and became the base for Hogg’s expansion in the US. Shortly after re-branding its North American operation to HRG North America in 2006, Hogg Robinson became a public company listed on the London Stock exchange. Michael became President of HRG and a member of the North American Board of directors.
Michael holds a BA from UCLA and an MA from Université Paris-Sorbonne.
Matt is a software developer and product manager. He has worked across several growth-stage startups, developing and scaling core features. Matt has worked with Context Matters, a health economics and data visualization company servicing the most prominent U.S. and international pharmaceutical companies, and Prompt.ly, a mobile scheduling, promotions, and invoicing platform for small business owners. He has extensive research experience, conducting experiments and building models in condensed matter and cosomology labs. Matt has built astronomical visualization software for NASA’s Jet Propulsion Lab as well as developed technology that detects many galaxies from telescopic emission data. Matt graduated with honors from The University of Chicago and holds a BA in physics.
Brook has over four years experience in the travel business and over thirteen years experience working with start-ups, both in–company and on the financing/venture capital side. He co-founded Webmedia, which tied click–to–play video software with an SMS billing platform. Later, as an analyst at Archstone Consulting, a global management consulting group, Brook worked for a number of Fortune 500 clients, including Schering–Plough, Pfizer, CVS, and AAR, with experience extending from M&A, HR, project mapping, strategic sourcing, quantitative analysis, and strategic HR retention initiatives. As a Senior Associate with GP Capital, a boutique venture capital group with offices in Boston and London, Brook worked with a range of drug delivery, consumer software, and energy efficiency software companies, structuring and managing seed and first round financing, totaling $25M, each completed prior to proof–of–concept/product completion. Brook is a graduate of Columbia University.
